TLC23 x Proteus invites you to an evening of abject noise, performative action, projection, underlyingly Gothic before Christmas. It's cold outside, it's cold inside and … Things Fall Apart.

JOSEF KURTZ is an artist based in London.
His work, equal parts emotive & alien, breaks a window into a darkly psychedelic dream state, where genre tropes express and depress themselves in a mania of sounds and textures.
He has performed across the UK in varying modes of obfuscation, evidence of past outings often washed away like the destruction of a buddhist mandala, remaining only in memory and word-of-mouth. He has performed in London, Glasgow & Newcastle.
Sacrifice Zone is the new project of both artists, this will be their first live collaborative iteration.

TLC23 is the collaborative project of artists Katie Shannon and Keira Fox.
They construct and curate events, exhibitions and situations which explore themes of mania, gender-based violence, melancholy, persecution, and protection with a distinctly feminist impulse.
TLC23 creates immersive environments where they and other artists and musicians perform and partake, orchestrating spaces for communal experience and resilience in uncertain times.
Incorporating sound, performance, installation, print media, film, sculpture and radio and Dj sets, TLC23 works become a site of both production and reception and as such inscribe viewers in a dynamic arena of complicity and voyeurship that is simultaneously reactive and restorative in its processes.
