Pleased to welcome the debut OTO performance from claire rousay, the San Antonio-based artist who has treated us to so many moments of sonic magic over the past year or so, including a striking piece for our Takuroku digital label, ilysm.
claire's music zeroes in on personal emotions and the minutiae of everyday life -- voicemails, haptics, environmental recordings, stopwatches, whispers and conversations -- exploding their significance. Her music - including a slew of collaborative work - has been published on Astral Spirits, Long Form Editions, Takuroku and her own Mended Dreams Records imprint.
Organ Tapes is a producer and singer from London and Shanghai. His most recent album, "Hunger In Me Living" (TT Label 2019), is characterised by layered guitar loops, midi instrumentation, field recordings and autotune vocals. Other releases include full-length "Into One Name" (Genome 6.66mbp 2017) and the EP "Words Fall To Ground" (Creamcake 2016), as well as various collaborative works. He also releases club edits and mashups under the 'DJ Corpmane' alias and hosts a monthly show on NTS Radio.
