This screening is part of the Barbican events programme for Leandro Erlich's Dalston House installation. It will be preceded by a filmed personal address by artist, describing his relationship to the film and how the film has inspired his own work. This tense psychological thriller forms the last in Polanski's 'Apartment Trilogy', after Repulsion and Rosemary's Baby. Trelkovsky (Polanski) rents an apartment in Paris, but discovers that the previous tenant was hospitalized after an attempted suicide. He soon becomes suspicious of his neighbours' involvement in the incident and of the plans they have in store for him.
