Linnéa Talp

Linnéa Talp is a composer and musician, current with her instrumental solo debut Arch of Motion (released 2022). The album consists of pieces for pipe organ with subtle elements of instruments like bass clarinet, voice and flute, featuring guests such as Mariam Wallentin, Christer Bothén and Martin Küchen. Her practice centers around presence and a focused listening, in which she creates minimalistic yet rich sonic weaves, with the organ as its foundation. Arch of Motion got onto Soundohm’s ”Best of 2022”-list, and The Arts Desk wrote: "Overall, experiencing the meticulous Arch of Motion is akin to being immersed in a flotation tank, with a soundtrack designed to induce a journey into interior worlds.” With her previous solo project DEEREST, she released the doom-y, experimental pop album COCHLEA (Dubious records, 2020).

Alex Zethson

Alex Zethson is a pianist, keyboardist and composer who runs his own 13-piece ensemble and is recent with a new post-rock project called Vathres. His solo works (featured on Thanatosis as well as on the labels Supertraditional and Superpang) is a suggestive and tactile exploration of the piano, full of rhythmical complexities. On the solo album Pole of Inaccessibility, Freejazz blog wrote: "Zethson creates gloomy piano soundscapes, exclusively played in the lower registers and with a slow, insistent repetitiveness. It is full of drama and the resulting effect is somber and strange at the same time …”

Martin Küchen

Multireedist Martin Küchen has been a prominent figure on scenes for experimental music and jazz for several decades. Apart from running his groove-based free jazz ensemble Angles, he’s frequently collaborating with musicians such as Keith Rowe, Martin Klapper, Steve Noble and Sophie Agnel (with the latter, he released a duo album in spring 2023). He’s also current with a jazzopera ro Angles plus strings and vocalist Elle-Kari Sander due to be released in spring 2024! His solo music is presented on several records, among them Utopia (2022), about which UK mag Freq wrote: "There is a solitude implicit in the minor tones as they drift, searching for something; but it is a desire to share, for you to be part of the evolution that is the album’s hidden strength. The sibilance of the reeds has a very human quality, and the soft reassurance is enough for the listener to let down defences and enter this abandoned souk, inhaling the odours and revelling in the sense of abandonment.”
