Rupert Clervaux

Rupert Clervaux is an experimental musician, writer, audio engineer and DJ, based in Mallorca and London. He was a founder member of Sian Alice Group (2007-2012), and since then has collaborated on numerous projects with, amongst others, Beatrice Dillon, Ben Vince, Zoë Mc Pherson, Spring Heel Jack, About Group and the Radiophonic Workshop.

As a solo artist, Rupert released ‘After Masterpieces’ in May 2019––his first solo-LP, and also the first LP to be released on the influential electronic label AD93. The record is a collection of six poems set to music, and features two collaborations with American experimental artist and singer Anna Homler. And since 2017 he has created four instasmlments of his ‘Zibaldone of CVX’ series––a project which sets audio excerpts of existing poetic texts, philisophical discourse and critical thought within a wide array of music production techniques––the most recent of which was released in February this year.

Extensive international touring and live performances in support of these projects have seen Rupert appear at All Tomorrow’s Parties (UK/USA), MONA FOMA in Tasmania, Rewire Festival in The Hague, Urvakan Festival in Yerevan, Brusfest in Moscow, SXSW, and London's Southbank Centre and Cafe Oto to name a few. His diverse and thematic DJ mixes can be heard on his regular LYL Radio slot, and his mix and mastering credits over the past decade include releases by a wealth of acclaimed experimental, electronic and improvisational artists.

Perila

Perila is a Berlin-based sound and visual artist, DJ and performer exploring sensitive borderlines and depths of subtle matter. She is a co-founder of radio.syg.ma, WET boss and engaged in several other music projects such as Aseptic Stir.

Her music is dense narratives drifting through a rich sound palette submerging a listener into a pretty personal trip. Constantly shifting moods and textures Perila creates comfort space for emotions to float, merge, evaporate and ride in a deep context. Her practice is aimed to challenge and overcome boundaries and share this expansion with the Other.

Dania

An architect of textured, neo-ambient soundscapes, Dania explores both sound and identity, focusing specifically on how the latter has fractured in a post-colonial world. Born in Baghdad, raised in Tasmania and now based in Barcelona, she moves between cultures and continents, her amorphous creative vision directly tied to her transient existence.

The founder of experimental platform Paralaxe Editions, Dania divides her time between Spain and the remote corners of Australia, where she works as an emergency doctor. Her musical practice, however, is preoccupied with harmonics and tonality, weaving together manipulated vocal fragments, processed field recordings and meditative atmospheres.

She has released on Geographic North, Ecstatic, Superpang, OOH sounds and on Longform Editions.

Ylia

Spanish producer and DJ. Her sets and live shows move fluidly and confidently between different genres, sometimes more abstract and slow, while others are more direct and danceable.

She has released singles on labels such as Hivern, Lapsus, Super Utu, Sinhilo and Tofistock, and at the end of 2020 she released her first full-length album, Dulce Rendición, on Paralaxe Editions. Owner of the Animah Records label, she also collaborates with Phran as People You May Know and with Darío del Moral (of Pony Bravo and Fiera) as Bola Del Desierto.

She also accompanies Niño de Elche live on synthesizers, keyboards and electronics. As a composer, she has worked creating the music and sound space for dance shows: Somewhat Paler (La Pálida) and Várvara by Bárbara Sanchez, Mi Madre Muerta by Greta García and Giselle by the Kor'sia company.
