Shearman is a noise being of (deep) Leytonstone. He carves noise out of objects and ephemera - he kneels at the altar of feedback, lies down in the slowly lapping undulations of seas of static and harsh noise viscera.
Michaela Gerussi is a dance artist and researcher based between London and Tkaronto (CA). She has been collaborating with Erin Hill and Tracy Valcárcel on performance and screen-based projects since 2015.
Their recent collaborative short film YIELD (2024) takes a specific approach to cycles and the legibility of the so-called natural world. It deals with the visual indeterminacy of twilight, considering how we orient ourselves in cycles of time through a granular attention to light and colour.
DJ and musician Max Ball has an archive of DJ mixes from Noods Radio, Kindred and his recent NTS show for The Trilogy Tapes. He also co-runs London club night Total Ninety.
Expect a DJ set of Free Jazz, ripped Electro, Lil Silva styled UK Funky, Techno and D&B. Past sets include a The White Hotel closing and a recent set at Spanners for cult noise event ‘Earworm’.
Mike is a sound designer for theatre, audio drama, dance, film & exhibitions. He will be presenting a multichannel piece incorporating processed field recordings.
HI! CAPYBARAS is a space-time bending collaborative performance between hackney based producer and sound poet Jo Chill (aka Betty Bottomdollar) and world renowned physicist Leonard Susskind - who is to this day unaware of his ongoing involvement with the project.
Grainy synths warmed by tape, deep meandering melodic structures and the constant rolling of Susskind's lecture provide a bed for Chill's poignant musings on childhood, loss, grief and endless love.
