Fragile Famile Records Showcase
Peter Matthew Kasen
Peter Matthew Kasen has steadily been progressing toward recognition and achievement since the beginning of his musical career as the core member of acclaimed group Propel. With his solo career beginning by the release of 2008's Dust, Doors, and Debt, he continues along his path as an artist through 2009's release of VEER. He's now embarking on a full tour of the UK and will then be playing throughout the US. Having studied guitar, composition, and arranging at Berkley, he approaches his songwriting with the skill of a painter while throwing in bleak and earnest sets of vocals that deliver as harsh doses of friction that then make way for a calm.
Jeanne
Jeanne is a greatly talented musician that takes favor in the accordion, approaching it with the stylings of a classical organ, while delivering as well with her soft and kind vocals. She took part in the recording of Piano Magic's very limited En/Of release of Never It Will Be the Same Again (only released on vinyl in a small quantity of 100, never to be re-produced). As well, she's also performed with artists such as Gaspar Claus and Julia Kent of Antony and the Johnson's, and will soon be playing with Goodbye Ivan.

Wild Dogs In Winter
Wild Dogs In Winter have been stirring for the last bit under the grounds of London, building their melodies and sorrow-drenched poetry to lift through the floorboards. While their style lightly plays on hints of melodramatic pop and post-rock, they are quick to sing their own song and rewrite formulas. Intelligent, bright, inventive, and overwhelmingly sad, these men have crafted a sound their own and are steadily claiming status in their local scene as well as perking ears of elsewhere.

The Etiquette Project
The Etiquette Project is a band of two very ambitious and talented artists, Loz and Max. As they've both had their fair share of working with other artists, The Etiquette Project was formed just a little over a year ago and has just completed it's first EP, The Mountains Bent to Greet Me, that will be available at this show. With lo-fi rock and pop sensibilities, there is also a bit of electronic and rap influence as well as accompaniment by Jeanne on accordion and vocals. Overall a very good achievment from an aspiring band.
