Venus Ex Machina has contributed to a range of projects spanning releases on labels such as AD93, NON Worldwide and Optimo Music in addition to installations for Hyperdub’s lauded ‘Ø’ series and the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) London. In 2021, she won the PRS Foundation Oram Award for innovation in music and sound technologies. Trained as a mathematician, she brings both a boundless curiosity and exacting precision to her work, and developed a “Pirate AI Opera” for CTM Festival in Berlin, and a workshop on radio transmitter building for Moogfest.

She has performed at numerous festivals and events across Europe including Berin Atonal (Berlin), Minimal Music Festival (Amsterdam), Rewire (The Hague), CTM Festival (Berlin) and Les Nuits Botanique (Brussels). She has lectured and given workshops at various institutions including Berklee College of Music, Slade School of Fine Art, Somerset House Studios, Tate Britain, The V&A Museum and for Creative Europe's SHAPE Platform. Venus Ex Machina, was featured in ‘Sonic Futures’ - a documentary by FACT Magazine and the British Council. She holds an MA in Music and Multimedia Composition from Brown University.

FLOCO

Singer, violinist and producer FLOCO inhabits a world between the old and the new. Weaving remnants of her musical upbringing on English folk music through live electronics and experimental production, FLOCO explores the more abstract lands of Dream Pop.

KAMILLA ARKU

Liberian-Norwegian pianist Kamilla Arku draws on her diverse background as inspiration for her work as a performer and educator. She has appeared as a soloist and collaborative pianist in Europe, Africa and North America, and has recently performed for the Royal Opera House, Chamber Music at Lincoln Center, the Intercultural Music Initiative, the Lyric Opera of Chicago, MoMA PS1, and Music for Liberia. Her latest release is a collaboration with composer Dameun Strange out on the nonclassical label.

Kamilla has appeared on BBC Radio 3 and BBC Radio London; performed chamber music with musicians such as Stephen Kovacevich, Karen Slack, April Koyejo-Audiger and the Calidore Quartet; and collaborated with visual artists Jordan Söderberg Mills and Amale Freiha Khlat and filmmaker Patrick Hamm. Kamilla is passionate about introducing audiences to lesser-known repertoire, and regularly programs music by women composers and composers of color.

Kamilla is the founder and Director of charity Music for Liberia, a non-profit supporting young people in Liberia. She is a graduate of Yale University and the Royal Northern College of Music, and is currently a PhD student in Musicology at New York University.

Wisteria

Wisteria, a 20-year-old multi-disciplinary musician from London, marries dream pop and experimental sounds to create immersive musical worlds. Drawing from diverse influences including SoundCloud rap, Black Metal, and digital realms, their music embodies the angst of the digital age. Blending fine art studies with musical composition, Wisteria's work uses CGI and image manipulation for world-building around their emotionally resonant, melancholic soundscapes.
