Eddie Prévost, revolutionary percussionist with avant-garde legends AMM, presents SUM, a 'total jazz' experiment featuring Seymour Wright (alto saxophone) and Ross Lambert (guitar), who both emerged from the regular improvisation workshop that Prévost started to convene in 1999 and have established themselves as two of London's finest improvisers.

Although Prévost's musical trajectory has taken him away from jazz into the further reaches of experimental music jazz was his first musical love and one he has never abandoned. SUM is a radical re-examination and reinterpretation of the jazz tradition, re-working the sounds and structures of jazz into new shapes, twisting old material into exhilarating new forms, making the strange familiar and the familiar strange.
