Refugee week public meeting on asylum seekers and destitution jointly organised by Islington and Hackney Amnesty International and Hackney Refugee and Migrant Support Group (HRMSG) with first hand accounts of asylum seekers' experiences in the UK and speeches from Diane Abbott MP, Jan Shaw, Amnesty International UK, and HRMSG members Eddie Barnes and Megan Redmond. There will also be a short film about the destitution faced by many asylum seekers.
