Part Wild Horses' Kelly Jayne Jones and Pascal Nichols curate a night of sound, art, and film performances by artists that they feel passionately about. They'll perform alongside primitive improvisers Acrid Lactations, Dan Scott's ceramic soundings and a special collaborative performance between These Feathers Have Plumes and Carlos Thomas and Veronica Ibarra - two Panamanian/Spanish film makers based in Manchester.
PART WILD HORSES MANE ON BOTH SIDES
The Manchester based duo of Kelly Jayne Jones (flute, vocals, electronics) and Pascal Nichols (percussion) formed in 2007. Their practice combines ritualistic free improvisation with an acute awareness of sound, space and silence. Most recently their focus has been on installation and sound commissions, including a collaboration with Haris Epaminonda. They have released prolifically on labels such as Singing Knives, Chocolate Monk, MIE Music and their own Rayon Records, and have performed or exhibited work at venues, festivals and galleries worldwide, including Tusk Newcastle, Kunsthaus Zurich, The Cube Cinema Bristol, Tate Modern London and Museum of Modern Art New York.

ACRID LACTATIONS
Acrid Lactations is the duo of primitivist improvisers Stuart Arnot and Susan Fitzpatrick. Theirs is a kitchen sink psychedelia comprising, perhaps, found-object percussives, fullthroat mouthslurp, scraped strings, urjazz hornings and yesterday's tapewarble.

DAN SCOTT
Dan Scott is a sound artist based in Kent. His work incorporates performance, field recording, text and composed listening.
Dan will use a selection of ceramics and the architecture of Cafe Oto to sound out Richard G Woodbridge III's theory that clay pots record sound when being thrown by a potter.
