Performing live in the UK for the first time, and exclusive to Cafe OTO in collaboration with purge.xxx, we are thrilled to welcome Mihály Víg with his legendary band Balaton.
Víg is best known internationally for his many film scores composed for Béla Tarr, including Damnation, Werckmeister Harmonies, and Satantango — in which he also plays the main role.
Musician, poet, artist and actor, he co-founded the bands Balaton (1979-present), and Trabant (1980-1986), whose songs he will perform, alongside selections from the films of Béla Tarr.
