Neil Campbell and Mick Flower have a history as two key members of legendary Leeds freak-out collective Vibracathedral Orchestra.

Neil left the group around four years ago and has since released countless recordings under the name Astral Social Club that, while under the influence of minimal house, also recall the ecstatic revery of Lou Reed's "Metal Machine Music".

Meanwhile, Mick has not only continued on the Vibracathedral trip, but has also played extensively solo and as half of one the most intense psych/improv drenched duos around, Flower-Corsano Duo. He has also played with Jandek, Spectre Folk, MV&EE and Sunburned Hand of the Man, among others.

MORGEN & NITE

Morgen und Nite was formed by Frances Morgan and Lee Knight in 2004 through a mutual appreciation of drone, blues, analogue synthesis, extreme high and low end, kosmische musik, zeuhl, doom, psychoacoustics, minimalism, the east-west excursions of Pelt and the British ecstatic noise of Matthew Bower, Neil Campbell, Ashtray Navigation and other fellow travellers. At any given time we can be an acoustic drone duo of dobro and harmonium or a cosmic noise unit comprising electric guitar and synth. We play fully improvised long tracks and have done so on bills with Ramleh, Birchville Cat Motel, Zaimph, MVandEE, Psychic Paramount, Telescopes and many more.
