Mick Flower is the guitarist/multi-instrumentalist/co-founder of the highly regarded improv collective VIBRACATHEDRAL ORCHESTRA .

His fearless explorations of sound, have established him as something of a benchmark in the world of experimental transcendental music. Recently he has recorded and toured with drummer Chris Corsano, forming the flower-corsano duo and he has recently toured across the US with Sunburned Hand of the Man and Magik Markers..

Best known for his work as one half of murk-psych mutants SKATERS, also records as Edward flex, lamborghini crystal and pacific rat temple band to name but a few. James messes in mind-altering crude minimalism, psychedelic fluid haze and ecstatic tone-float. Last years marble surf CDR was quite literally THE record of the year. It’s all heavy on heavenly synth drone and mind-bombing polyrhythm.

Spencer Clark of SKATERS has recorded under the alias of VODKA SOAP and BLACK JOKER of late but MCSS sees a more dense high-life African percussion based speed of light /staring at the sun approach. Think terry riley meets sun ra and you’re nowhere near.

Industrial droners Ben Jones and Hasan Gaylani create powerful end of the world sound textures to devastating effect. Expect low-level smear and primitive head-swim. Jazzfinger will be performing at this year’s NO FUN FEST in New York.

P.A.R.A.s sound is based on primitive mantras and occult practice. Fourth world chants combined with star-glazed loops of lo-fi-haunt drone. There are aspects of Fursaxa and Meredith monk in there – total hallucinatory wipeout!
