KATZ MULK

Based in Glasgow/Tokyo and featuring group mainstays Ben Morris and Ben Ellul-Knight with a rotating cast of collaborating artists & dancers, katz mulk infuse  dance, sculpture, and choreography into slippery avant electronic pop. Katz Mulk have performed at Counterflows Festival (2019) and were invited on a residency in Hong Kong by the Xevarion Institute (2023) where they developed the music for all the mess, their most recent release on the Brussels-based label Futura Resistenza. An absurdist collection of songs (of sorts) about playing, play work, and the labour of play. Katz mulk like the idea of the spontaneous gesture oozing from song like tree sap that can be distilled into something you'll gamely put on your morning oats.

For this show Ben Ellul-Knight will be joined by the artist Rob Lye and other collaborators.
