Bringing together long-standing figures of the UK’s underground, this one-off trio's practice is steeped in the chaotic, do-it-yourself traditions of tape culture. Built from raw grit, they throw together Dylan Nyoukis’s feral vocal clunk, Karen Constance’s unsettling tape loops, and Ali Robertson’s unpredictable amplified objects for an intensely disorienting, wonderfully unhinged ride that floods and freezes the mind in the middle of the night.
Pèrrim has developed a meticulous solo practice focused on the subtle mechanics of listening. Working with extreme patience, he coaxes microscopic details out of minimal textures, letting subtle shifts in tone slowly alter the gravity of the room through an intricate finger-picking guitar style rooted in acoustic folk and acid-folk traditions.
A Peruvian-born artist and researcher now based in Berlin, Cárdenas combines a background in sound studies with a relentless drive for multidisciplinary experimentation. Pushing experimental guitar and tactile electronics through a lens of sonic research, she constructs heavy, immersive narratives that sit right on the edge of performance art and radical composition.
Operating under various guises for decades—including his foundational work in The Skaters—US-born artist Spencer Clark brings his Fourth World Magazine universe to life. Using vintage keyboards, he maps out exotic, uncanny landscapes that blend strange folkloric lore with surreal, tropical electronics, building an entirely self-contained mythology on stage.
An Italian researcher, musician, and BABAU member now based in London, Luigi Monteanni has released several audio works diving into the deep undercurrents of ethnolocal folklore(s) and sonic anomalies. Drawing straight from his series of eerie cassette tape compilations released on Sucata such as Total Spook and Tempat Angker, this set dives into a dark, campy wormhole of supernatural field recordings, ominous tunes and sombre sounds from regional mythologies tailored for the spookiest of nights.
