Christian Wallumrød Ensemble is considered one of the most prominent ensembles of contemporary chamber music in Europe. Since 2002 they have regularly toured and played at festivals in Norway, Scandinavia, Europe, Japan and the US. For the album Outstairs (ECM) the ensemble was awarded with a Norwegian Grammy in the category contemporary. The latest release Kurzsam and Fulger was critically acclaimed in Norway and abroad.
