Chris Corsano has gained a well-earned reputation as one of the hardest-working drummers around. Equally at home with intense kinetic explosions of energy and concentrated near-silence, he effortlessly flows from one idea to the next, always sympatico with his fellow musicians. "Stefan Jaworzyn was either at the origin or played an active part in several singular adventures of the London Underground during the ’80s and ’90s. First off, he was the editor of the cult magazine Shock Xpress and co-organizer of Shock around the Clock, a fantasy and horror film festival. Next, he made a brief appearance as musician in Whitehouse, the standard in "power electronics", a sort of electronic noise, an ultra-violent genre, both musically and verbally, that first hit the scene at the beginning of the ’80s. Between 1986 and 1990, he played guitar with Skullflower, a harsh noise group producing hypnotic rhythms, and then with Ascension and Descension, creating a music just as violent, but structure-free, thus coming closer to the currents of free and improvised music. He also headed his own label, Shock, between 1989 and 1996, with the collaboration of his friend Edwin Pouncey, a.k.a. Savage Pencil, releasing records by, among others, Lol Coxhill, Nurse With Wound and Hession/Wilkinson/Fell." - Prism Escape

John Edwards

Since 1995 John Edwards has become a mainstay of the London scene, playing with just about everybody, an activity that has seen him clocking up between 150 and 200 gigs a year. He has become regular player with Evan Parker, in many groupings, and with Tony Bevan, Veryan Weston, and Elton Dean, often in collaboration with Mark Sanders on percussion. He has become a more frequent player on the European (and festival) scene, appearing at Taktlos, Ulrichsburg, Nickelsdorf, Budapest, New Zealand and in the USA. He continues to work on solo performances.
