London based-South African drummer/percussionist Craig Tamlin has played with the likes of Damo Suzuki, Club Mu, Afracadabra, Rebecca Closure, Now, Charles Hayward and is currently touring/playing percussion with Anthony Joseph & The Spasm Band. Tonight he brings together:

Andrew John (electric bass, also with The Spasm Band), Shura Greenberg(double bass), Shabaka Hutchings (bass clarinet), Tom Challenger (tenor saxophone), Dylan Bates (violin), Lee Knight (electric guitar), Rick Simpson (keys).

Some of the finest acts from London and beyond, all who have been on the London improv scene for some time perform composed pieces by such great artist as Ornette Coleman, Art Ensemble of Chicago, Sonny Simmons etc... Plus, added to the evenings performance are spontaneous improvised pieces performed by all the musicians, trio's/quartets/ quintets etc..chosen on the spot, keeping the music exciting, on the edge and continuously searching for new sounds & concepts.
