Headpress presents; AN EVENING WITH THE LEGENDARY JOHN SINCLAIR

Including special musical guests, book signing, and a screening of

previously unseen MC5 footage

Activist, poet, blues authority, manager of MC5 and co-founder of the White Panthers, John Sinclair shot to international fame when arrested for selling two joints to an undercover cop in 1967. A ten years prison sentence created an uproar, with John Lennon penning a song, "John Sinclair," and playing a benefit as part of an international Free John Sinclair Campaign.

This event commemorates the fortieth anniversary of the White Panther movement, the publication of HEADPRESS 28, edited by Mr Sinclair, and a special preview of THE JOHN SINCLAIR READER and CD, the follow-up to GUITAR ARMY.
