:ZOVIET*FRANCE:
North East based sound artists, industrial pioneers, film soundtrackers and ambient electronic specialists Ben Ponton and Mark Warren ply their esoteric sonic manipulations at festivals and rare live dates around the globe. Following on from their hugely successful 7.10.12 release on alt.vinyl and the tables are turning on soleilmoon, this extremely rare live performance in London will coincide with the release of their collaboration with FossiL Aerosol Mining Project patina pooling also on alt.vinyl.

WINTER FAMILY
Winter Family are Israeli vocalist Ruth Rosenthal and Parisian pianist Xavier Klaine. With iconic releases on alt.vinyl, sub rosa and marienbad behind them Winter Family continue to push the boundaries of their music. From hushed organ drone minimalism, to cabaret confidentialities and more recently the strident punk polemic of Land of the Free. As with Zoviet * France this is a very rare opportunity to catch their intensely theatrical performances in London

RHODRI DAVIES
Aberystwyth born harpist Rhodri Davies is now an adopted son of the North East. After being known for more minimal compositions earlier in his solo career, Rhodri’s recent works have seen a more frenzied, psychedelic use of harp, electric harp and live processed electronics. His recent Wound Response release on alt.vinyl is typical of his newer work as is his contribution to the dawson davies: hen ogledd release with Richard Dawson. His stellar solo career is the subject of a forthcoming 4LP box set which will coincide with his new album An air swept clean of all distance; both released on alt.vinyl.
