Label founder, artist & writer Flora Yin Wong’s upcoming releases will be a second album on Modern Love, and via INA GRM following a residency for the Parisian institute's 48-channel diffusion system. Her debut album 'Holy Palm' was released on Modern Love and has featured on labels like PAN, Archaic Vaults, and Danse Noire and is currently working on remixes for Nyege Nyege Tapes and Animistic Beliefs. She has performed live at Atonal Berlin, Unsound and Semibreve Festivals, New York’s ISSUE Project Room, MACRO Roma, MUTEK in Peru, Buenos Aires, and Montreal, Volksbühne Theatre, SOTO Kyoto, The V&A Museum, Somerset House, The Jazz Cafe, and Cafe OTO, to clubs like Berghain, Printworks, Razzmatazz, WWWB Tokyo, and guested on shows for Rinse FM, NTS, Know Wave, The Lot Radio, and Boiler Room, with a trimestrial residency on LYL Radio.
Described by the Quietus as a "saxophone prodigy", Polish producer, composer and instrumental whizz Jerzy Mączyński is tough to pigeonhole. He channels his jazz training into forward-thinking genre-bending sounds that are well evidenced on this year's 'DO 555PS', a sci-fi concept album that's part kosmische, part prog, part industrial techno and part 20th century minimalism. And having cut his teeth working alongside Chicago vanguard Hieroglyphic Being (under the Universal Harmonies & Frequencies moniker), Mączyński is well positioned to shift improv into uncharted territories.
Ibrahim Alfa Jnr is a British-Nigerian producer, performer, and label founder whose adventurous career in electronic music spans nearly three decades. Raised on piano, guitar, and early computer experiments, Alfa was inspired by the minimalism of Steve Reich and John Cage, as well as the emerging sounds of acid house and Detroit techno. He began releasing music in the 1990s and soon established himself across Europe’s club circuit, founding the influential labels Automatic and Semi Automatic to champion outsider electronic music. Alfa’s 2016 archival album for Germany’s Workshop Records, Hidden by the Leaves, earned critical acclaim. In recent years, he’s released a trilogy of albums on Mille Plateaux and launched the experimental alias count0, embracing cutting-edge sound design with SonicLabs STARWAVES.
Brothers Oscar and felix taylor are coming together to improvise for the first time, despite having known each the since birth.
Oscar or opo has been based in Barcelona for the last 9 years working with Jokkoo Collective and developing his sound and skills through experimental beatmaking and improvisation with trashy gear and actual trash.
felix, currently based in London, has grown into a young goat working in wide range of sonic fields including electroacoustic music, education, composition and soundtracking.
They are taking the opportunity of opos first invitation to play live in their home town and the extended collaborative space which will be created during felix's residency at Mosaic Rooms Gallery (12.10 - 8.11) to explore how their common roots are flourishing in different environments, to meet, converse and catchup in sound.
opo plays with music, sounds, images, and DIY technology with a focus on improvisation,
experimentation and collaboration. opo is a member of the Jokkoo Collective, founded in Barcelona in 2017, that explores and amplifies contemporary electronic and avant-garde sounds from the African continent and its diaspora. Responding to their absence within European club circuits, Jokkoo forges connections and spaces where non-hegemonic musical aesthetics lead, opening room for hybrid Afroelectronic experimentation and diasporic narratives. opo is currently studying dub histories, noise, and electronics. They are also strongly influenced by sci-fi, ancestral afro musics, jazz, performance art, and food. opo hopes to subvert hierarchies and binaries whilst learning life skills, most of all love (in) communication.
felix taylor is a composer and artist from South London. His work looks towards field recording, musical composition, film scores, unlicensed radio broadcasts, graphic score and live performance. He is primarily concerned with memory, hauntings and experiences that disrupt monochronic time culture.
Previous projects include performances, collaborations, workshops, exhibited works and soundtracks for The ICA, Chisenhale gallery, BBC Sounds, Somerset House, South London Gallery, FACT Liverpool, Reduced Listening, Philip Glass, The Black Cultural Archive, GOMA, Thames Festival, Musicity, NTS Radio, The Arnolfini, The British Library, Museum of London, MACBA and We the Curious.
As the ongoing artist-in-residence and de facto Night Czar of Breadminster, Elijah Minnelli has done much to broaden the districts cultural-standing with an ever-growing stable of sonic exports. Borne of an equal love of outsider folk, and the interwoven musical lineages of both South America and the West Indies, Minnelli’s output stands out by balancing its influences with a unique irreverence.
The physical fruits of his labour first appeared as a successful run of self-released 7 inch singles, each handmade and ferried across the record shops of London. The releases honour the Jamaican tradition of featuring a dub on the b-side, stripping away the myriad theatrics of the a-side in favour of a focus on bass, space and rhythm. Across the tracks, you’ll find a blend of rickety, ragtag percussion and radiator-warm bass, topped with melodies that hark back to the forlorn folk of bygone eras; a wheezy melancholia that elevates the tracks beyond pure sound system functionality.
His Creamed Horn release came out on Accidental Meetings in 2022 and is in homage to the Breadminster Bovine Welfare.

Meakusma is a Belgian arts organization based in Eupen. Founded in 2004, it bridges a record label, a festival, and radio broadcasts. It focuses on boundary-pushing, experimental, electronic, and improvised music.
