Uwe Oberg

The German pianist Uwe Oberg (*1962) plays at the intersection of Jazz and new improvised music. He bends the bow from inside-piano to originals and music of different origin. With ROPE it’s free improvisation, with LACY POOL pieces by Steve Lacy, with SILKE EBERHARD originals as well as music linked with 1960s Free Jazz. Whatever he plays he transforms in his unique sound without musical borders.
