Search Engine Quartet consists of Joshua Barfoot, Tom Hardwick-Allan, Kiran Leonard, and Alex McKenzie, and is a project for commissioning, interpreting and performing scores. They have commissioned and performed scores from artists such as Graham Lambkin, Regan Bowering, Rory Salter, Max Syedtollan, Eli Winter, Russell Walker, John Burgess and Ash Reid, Sally Plowman, and Worstie. Scores have ranged from instructional texts, an oral score delivered via Microsoft Teams, an indie rock song written in MIDI, a one-act play, and other pieces which straddle several of these disparate categories.
