Olivia Salvadori

Olivia Salvadori is an experimental soprano, performer and recording artist. Her practice considers the nature of the voice as an instrument for self observation.

“I have always perceived the voice as a sculpture, as a vibrating material in which intimate and shared spaces become one, and can be lived and verified in a continuous process, thus becoming the root of vocal experience.’’ In 2014, she co-founded the art collective Tutto Questo Sentire together with composer and producer Sandro Mussida and video artist Rebecca Salvadori. TQS investigates encounters between music, visual practice and performative disciplines; and has included notable international artists.

Olivia Salvadori performed in venues and festivals such as: Norient Kunsthalle Bern (Bern), Le Guess Who? (Utrecht), Serralves Museum (Porto), FOLD club (London), Hong Kong City Hall (Hong Kong), Botanical Garden (Rome), Triennale Museum (Milan), Donizetti Opera Theatre (Bergamo), Kaaitheatre (Brussels), Palau de Les Arts Reina Sofia, (Valencia), Institute Of Contemporary Interdisciplinary Arts (Bath), MuseoNovecento (Florence) Wiener Festwochen (Vienna) ICA Institute of Contemporary Arts ( London ).
