Natalia Beylis was born in Kiev, Ukraine, raised in Baltimore, USA and now lives in the rural countryside of Leitrim, Ireland. Her work revolves somewhere between sonic story-teller and outer-sounds musician. In her recordings and performances she layers seemingly incongruous sounds atop of each other to spawn strange juxtapositions and garbled parallels. Beylis is fascinated by the musicality of the seemingly mundane and often incorporates domestic and nature sounds into her compositions.

Beylis has released 32 albums between solo works and collaborations and has appeared on numerous compilation releases. She is the founding member of Woven Skull and plays in BB84.

Beylis is currently seeking out Kilstosheen. She hopes this quest will provide answers for what the future may hold.
