Quasai is the solo project of sonic artist and musician Francesco Fonassi (Spettro/Villa Recordings/Canti Magnetici). Dealing with analog synthesizers, tapes and acoustic instruments within a feral yet complex approach to mixing and dubbing, Quasai's live act brings the audience into a remote, cubistic entanglement aiming for a form of discrete hypno-magnetism. His first self-titled LP will be out on Les Giants label in spring 2024, produced at EMS Stockholm on Buchla 200 synthesizers and mixed at IAC Malmö and Spettro studio, mastered by Marta Salogni and Matt Bordin.
