Midnight Mines is the London-based duo of Baron Saturday and Private Sorrow. On the bill with Mosquitoes and General Echo DJs, this was only their second live show. Normally the pair record their music at home based on improvisations which are subsequently overdubbed, edited and versioned to make finished tracks. To date they've released 4 cassettes and 1 vinyl LP, either on their own Mystery Plane label or via the Loki Label in the US. Their next release will be a 7" on the Gothenburg-based I Dischi Del Barone.
