HANNA HARTMAN
Berlin-based Hanna Hartman is a very important power in today's performance, sound art- and modern composition scenes. For some 20 years, she has developed an unique and own artistic language, more or less creating her own genre. Experiencing the works of Hanna Hartman live is hypnotic and beautiful.

MATS GUSTAFSSON & THURSTON MOORE
Mats Gustafsson is the world's leading free jazz sax player. His endless touring and recording is giving us cascades of free jazz energies, with his amazing solo actions and with groups like The Thing, FIRE!, Swedish Azz and the sadly defunct Peter Brötzmann Chicago Tentet. Recently he led the massive FIRE! Orchestra big band on a Scandinavian crusade. Thurston Moore is another extremely important artist in the contemporary noise and improv scenes. His work with Sonic Youth needs no further presentation and he has played and recorded with "everyone". Fellow discsaholics Gustafsson and Moore are no doubt two sources of extreme energy.

VINYL TERROR & HORROR
Camilla Sørensen and Greta Christensen have worked together since 2001 modifying, deconstructing and reconstructing turntables and vinyl records for their artistic needs as the Danish duo Vinyl Terror & Horror. The result of these modifications are amazingly detailed and well executed noise compositions- raw, lo/hi tech stuff!
SEWER ELECTION & FREDERIKKE HOFFMEIER
Swedish noise master Dan Johansson of SEWER ELECTION and Copenhagen's queen of filth and unease Frederikke Hoffmeier (also infamous as Puce Mary of the Posh Isolation fame). Static, beautiful, crude experimental electro-acoustic noise, no hope, no love. Simply, static sound experiments for people willing to suffer.
CHRISTINE ABDELNOUR & JOACHIM NORDWALL
Christine Abdelnour is known for playing with great sensitivity and depth, and for her numerous collaborations with the top names of today's improv scene. She is experimenting with the saxophone as instrument and sound creator, and has found a unique sound that is surprisingly concrete, varied and strong, even though often sublime and microtonal. It often comes to mind that Abdelnour and her instrument almost becomes one in her performances. Joachim Nordwall is investigating the power of sound through anologue synths and effects , and how to reach certain states of mind though music. He is founding member of ritual rock group The Skull Defekts and runs his iDEAL label and organisation for experimental and electronic music.
ANT DICKINSON
Ant is a North Wales based musician and sound designer. Often working with field recordings and unconventionally applied instrumentation, he focuses on specific sound sources, exploring meaning and concept in digitally manipulated pieces. His love of contemporary electronic music is influenced by the ideas and practice of John Cage combined with the aesthetics of Steve Reich, Matmos and Aphex Twin.
ÅKE HODELL "220 V Buddha, Electronic Purgatory I" - presented by Mats Lindström
Åke Hodell (who was an army pilot in the 40's and whose artistic career started in a plane crash in South Sweden) was one of the founding artists of the 60's text/sound poetry movement. Hodell made his debut in 1953 with the "Flyende Pilot" collection of poems. His works; radio plays, books and sound pieces were often political and anti militaristic. Åke Hodell also ran the legendary Kerberos imprint whose publications are highly collectible. "220 V Buddha, Electronic Purgatory I" was commissioned by Fylkingen in 1970.
Originally a stage work for performance artists with ape masks, a Buddha figure (ÅH) and slide projections. The abridged version for slides and tape was made for a festival in 1980. An early version was premiered on November 28, 1970 in Copenhagen. Commissioned by Fylkingen. First performance November 17, 1971 at Fylkingen at Östgötagatan, Stockholm. First performance of the abridged version April 11, 1980 New York. Produced at Fylkingen/SR/EMS. Technical realization: Martin Holm.
