This evening is presented by the Asian Music Circuit, a charity that promotes traditional Asian arts in the UK and Europe. Tonight is a first in its kind, with young emerging artists performing ragas of Indian Classical music. They will talk us through the theory behind the music as well as improvising together.

It will be a casual open concert, feel free to ask the musicians any questions. The aim is to turn this into a regular event where Asian music and other music can come together and musicians can experiment – Café Oto is the perfect venue for this. But for tonight, it’s an introduction to the ragas of India.
