OTO PROJECT SPACE // Patrick Farmer. Sarah Hughes. Samuel Rodgers: Four Day Residency

No Longer Available

Patrick Farmer has been working with Sound and Music and the Forestry Commission for the last two years. He has been taking sporadic trips up to Grizedale in the Lake District, staying in a log cabin, watching Luis Buñuel films over and over, writing his third publication, yew grotesque, and composing a series of event based prose scores for a performance in Lancaster, with Hughes, Rodgers, and Stephen Cornford, later on this year.

Farmer, Hughes and Rodgers will take up residence in the Project Space for four days, they will spend time discussing and developing Farmer's compositions, performing them into the wall, so to speak.

This residency will culminate in a free performance, talk, or something else. More info TBA.

Patrick Farmer plays motors as if they were spinning drums and tries to write books. Recently he has picked up on some old habits, such as turning bass drums into plant pots, and recording greylag geese. He is a founder member of the Set Ensemble and co-founder of the Compost and Height label. When he finishes his PhD, he's promised himself he'll walk the Norfolk Coast.
