Pimmel is a large group exploring the power of massed fuzz organs (alongside stylophones, bass and drums) under the direction of Andy Saunders. Pimmel members include Saunders and alongside Chris Cutler, Mick Hobbs, Richard Miles, Dave Tribe, Tom Muggridge, Jake Rouscham, Dave Benke, Mike Barnes, Mark Robertson and Steve Mason.

Andrew Saunders a founding member of music/ film experimentalists Towering Inferno (with Richard Wolfson who passed away in 2005). Towering Inferno’s album Kaddish fused chanting rabbis with heavy metal guitar, hypnotic systems music, Hungarian poetry and folk songs. Released in 1993, Brian Eno described it as the most frightening album he had ever heard.
