Composer, saxophonist and keyboard player Peter Gordon will be performing with electric cellist and synth player Blake Leyh in an electro-acoustic duo edition of his Love of Life Orchestra, including new versions of selections from his album with David Cunningham, The Yellow Box, which will be released on vinyl for the first time by Cologne’s Week-End Records.
In addition to his electric cello and synth work with his ensemble N to the Power, Blake Leyh is an Emmy award winning film and tv composer and supervisor (The Wire, Treme).
Gordon’s performance will include video art and films of Kit Fitzgerald, Gordon’s longtime collaborator.
