Sunday 27 September 2020, 11am–6pm
Come down and hang out, enjoy our freshly stocked bar and browse through our records, books and posters. We have possibly the best beer in the world on tap from our friends at the Kernel plus an extensive range of spirits including Japanese whiskies alongside some great Single Malts from Scotland. Not to mention some exceptional beers in the fridge with a big range of Belgian greats including Dubbel, Westmalle Dubbel and the Trappistes Rochefort 10, as well as some new additions such as St Fullien and Mongozo Pils Gluten-Free beer.
We'll also serving delicious Japanese food from Drumsco! And between 11-4 we'll be selling an extended range of records and books from some of our favourite publishers.
We'd love to see you. In order to keep things safe we will be running the bar with dedicated seating and table service only; with a maximum of 6 people in each group and no standing. Tables will be on a first come, first served basis - please bare with us if we can't seat you straight away. Visitors will be asked to scan a QR code at the door when they arrive, using the NHS COVID-19 app. We will be providing hand sanitiser - and note that we will only be accepting card payments.
Drumsco is Japanese pop-up Izakaya based in East London. We normally make Okonomiyaki (Savoury Japanese pancake) but we'll make special Japanese curry this time at Cafe OTO. Drumsco means Lazy sun in Japanese, to be written as 'どら息子' and established by two Japanese drummers in 2017.
