Magic Hollow presents: Leo Dupleix + Rose Keeler-Schaffeler / Daniel O'Sullivan / Ivy O'Sullivan

£17 £15 Advance £10 MEMBERS

Leo Dupleix is a composer and musician whose work unfolds as a slow, sensorial exploration of sound, drawing on early European music, folk traditions, pop forms, and experimental minimalism. Working primarily with harpsichord and a range of hardware and software synthesizers, he performs in non-tempered tuning systems, with a particular focus on just intonation.

For this, his debut London performance, Dupleix will present music for justly tuned harpsichord, including works from his forthcoming album Standing Waves, due for release on Daniel O'Sullivan's Magic Hollow imprint.

Alongside his solo practice, he composes for and performs with various ensembles, including Les Certitudes (with Judith Hamann and Juliette Adam) and Asterales (with Fredrik Rasten, Jon Heilbron and Rebecca Lane). His recordings have been released by Black Truffle, Discreet Editions, Ftarri, Dinzu Artefacts, and his own imprint, Albertine Editions.

Dupleix has performed extensively across Europe and beyond, appearing at festivals and venues including Baignade Sauvage (Albi), Meakusma (Belgium), Fragment (Metz), SuperDeluxe (Tokyo), Instants Chavirés (Paris), and Fylkingen (Stockholm).

Rose Keeler-Schaffeler / Daniel O'Sullivan / Ivy O'Sullivan

Rose Keeler-Schaffeler, Daniel O'Sullivan and Ivy O'Sullivan will perform a rare set drawing on material from Rose's forthcoming Magic Hollow release, Universal Language alongside selections from O'Sullivan's wider catalogue. Built around voice, live electronics and piano, the performance explores the meeting point between song and improvisation, expanding on Universal Language's exploration of the voice before language while weaving in O'Sullivan's compositions. The concert also marks the beginning of an ongoing series of Magic Hollow-curated evenings bringing together artists from the label's growing community for intimate live performances.
