(A Table for Three, or the Troïka gets bored) is a piece for three percussionists/performers playing on and under a table, exploring the sounds world of this common piece of furniture as well as the relations between people sitting around it. MINIMAL presents it in a staging by Christian Kesten in which the players adopt different attitudes towards another, sometimes very surprising, and develop an abstract yet very efficient mean of communication.

MINIMAL is a Swiss group that spends time and attention to detail to present high quality productions based around masterpieces of the twentieth century and cutting edge musical creation. Each production has a theme and makes a way through the labyrinth of the 20th and 21st century art music, underlining one particular aspect of it. MINIMAL at the TABLE treats of body-language through instrument-less percussion.
