After a great show in July with Sweden's 1991 and Arclight, Astro:Dynamics are back at Café OTO with another pair of innovative artists operating at the experimental fringes of electronic music: WANDA GROUP & DYNOOO.

WANDA GROUP

Brighton's Louis Johnstone first came to our attention through his output under previous handle DEM HUNGER. Since then he has released a slew of releases under a variety of monikers (including a split release on our own label under the names GSD and GG ALIEN), and he has certainly found his feet of late through his output as WANDA GROUP - putting out much-praised LPs on a stellar array of imprints including NNA Tapes, Further Records and Opal Tapes. Prepare for something special for this, only his second ever live appearance under the WANDA GROUP guise.



DYNOOO

Belgium's DYNOOO, appears hot on the heels of the release of his 'Mesh N2 Air' LP on our very own Astro:Dynamics label (which also featured a remix from contemporary artist Lars T C F Holdhus). DYNOOO previously released on the Surf Kill label (an imprint he runs with fellow countryman Cupp Cave), though having recently relocated to South London he has opted for a more stripped back and considered synthetic approach that feels ultra-futuristic at the same time as being seeped in nostalgia.
