Catherine Kontz is a composer, writing and collaborating with musicians and visual artists in London and abroad. She has recently written music for Henri Vaxby, Rhodri Davies, Ebba Erikzon and BJ Cole. Also, as part of her PhD in Composition at Goldsmiths College she produced and directed a large-scale music theatre work (MiE) at the Space earlier this year for a set of six sold-out perfromances. MiE is written for 8 mimes/acrobats and 39 musicians and also features a glass harmonica, a fantastic instrument mastered beautifully by Alasdair Malloy. As a pianist and cellist, she regularly performs within the contemporary music and free improvisation scene in London with appearances at Interlace, at the Music We'd Like To Hear concert series and the Melbourne Arts Festival in Derbyshire. She also records and performs regularly with Cartridge whose first record 'Cases' came out last year. Also Catherine occassionally records and performs with Icons of Elegance especially when they do gigs in the UK, and I play now and again with Mika Sellens. I was a member of Woodchuck and I have done sessions for the Wedding Present and the Bays.

BJ Coleis a unique innovator on the Pedal Steel Guitar who has carved out a formidable reputation as a session musician, and established his own artistic identity with the release of five of his own albums. He has recorded with many of the great names in popular music, such as Elton John, Marc Bolan, Scott Walker, Beck, Bjork, Sting, David Sylvian and many others. In recent years such recording activities have led to BJ playing on tour dates with The Verve, REM and Sting.

Henry Vaxby is an electric guitarist and composer committed to new music.

Angharad Davies is a violinist based in London. She is an active performer in contemporary, improvisation and experimental music both as a soloist and within ensembles. Since making London her base in 2002 she has developed a specific approach to the violin, extending the sound possibilities of the instrument by attaching and applying objects to the strings or by sounding unexpected parts of the instrument’s body. She is dedicated to exploring and expanding sound production on the violin. 2008 has seen Angharad perform a live radio broadcast with Apartment House for WDR Koln, and in June she took part in Tony Conrad’s ‘Unprojectable: Projection and Perspective’ which was specially conceived for the Turbine Hall, Tate Modern, London.
