Gianni Trovalusci has written:

'The work of Lucretius presents itself as a unique flow of thought that traverses Nature and develops deeper reflections upon its themes. Lucretius investigates Nature attempting to grasp its constitutive elements exemplifying its atomic structure; sometimes highly objective and at others revealing fascinating creative evocations. Almost an undifferentiated field of macroscopic and microscopic is presented as two levels which constitute the object of Lucretius’ research and investigation always with an acute, poetic and yet incisive focus.

In a similar vein, the musical and visual formation of this project is directly informed by the same investigation that Lucretius proposes. And so research, investigation, and reflection, to reach the expression relative to this continuous interplay of matter – sound, empty space – silence, and all their possible variations in connections and interaction with video images…

The poetics and the structure of this ancient text will form a parallel method incorporating a new reflection on the nature of sounds, colours and forms, and their organisation creating a total unique over-riding gesture'
