Old Heaven Bookstore in Shenzhen, China licensed five classic ESP-Disk' albums for a limited-edition five-tape box set sold at the May 2019 Tomorrow Festival in the OCT-Loft district of Shenzhen. ESP imported only 24 copies, Cafe OTO were given one.
The albums are:
Albert Ayler: Spirits Rejoice
Ronnie Boykins: The Will Come, Is Now
Marion Brown Quartet: s/t (the version with four tracks)
Sonny Simmons: Staying on the Watch
Sun Ra: Concert for the Comet Kohoutek
Online bidding ends at 11:59pm BST on 13th April 2020. There will no longer be a live room auction. We will contact anyone who has won on the 14th of April. Winners can either collect in person or have their item posted to them, though unfortunately due to the current situation we are unable to do this immediately.
