Magnus Westwell is a Scottish Composer and Choreographer based in London. Magnus is currently a Young Associate Artist at Sadler’s Wells, with their work performed across the UK and Europe in theatre, club, gallery and festival contexts.

Magnus’ creations can be raw, romantic and haunting, often looking at the extremes of ecstasy and emptiness, as well as their experience of being queer and neurodivergent.

In live sets, Magnus manipulates violins to create complex soundscapes, experimenting with how orchestral textures can exist within contemporary electronic music.
