Isidora Edwards is a Chilean cellist, improviser and composer, currently a PhD Researcher in Music at Goldsmiths, University of London. She is actively exploring the intersection between performativity, materiality and imagination in sound from a feminist perspective. As a solo artist and in collaboration with multidisciplinary artists and ensembles Isidora has taken part in festivals of experimental music and contemporary dance worldwide: Ars Nova Festival Ravensburg, Dara String Festival Berlin & Cologne, Dança à Deriva Brazil, Gráfica Génesis Series ,Costa Rica, Ende Tymes Festival of Noise New York, Suture Soven, Soven, Iklectik Ballistik, London, WinterSound Festival, Canterbury.
Isidora holds a MMus in Creative Practice from Goldsmiths, a BMus in Music Performance from the Catholic University of Chile. She is a scholarship holder of the Chilean National Agency for Research and Development.
