Brighton bands don’t come much more historic than I’m Being Good. Starting life as bedroom warrior Andrew Clare’s early 90’s guitar-dirge-on-tape steed, IBG swiftly clocked up five LPs of beautiful, ugly, detuned, spitting and spluttering rock, as well as numerous singles, tracks on compilations and two sessions for the John Peel show. The current lineup of Tom Barnes, Andrew Clare and Stuart O'Hare is featured on 2011's "Mountain Language", released on Gringo Records, and the band has also recorded records for such labels as Slampt!, Fisheye, Che, Destroy All Music, Lissy's, Paroxysm (USA), Woozy (Australia), EE:Lettro (Italy), Area 51 (London), Kill Rockstars (USA) and their own INFINITE CHUG label. The band are renowned for their electrifying live shows and for playing themselves and their equipment into the ground.
"slinging deliriously woozy lead guitars over tightly wound, angular art-rock foundations." Stewart Lee, The Sunday Times.
