Ellen Arkbro (b. 1990) is a composer and sound-artist based in Stockholm, Sweden. Working with intervallic harmony in just intonation, she composes for acoustic instruments, as well as for synthesized tones. Most recently, Arkbro released for organ and brass on Subtext Recordings, a set of recordings of her works for renaissance organ, horn, trombone and microtonal tuba. Her work includes long duration compositions, sound installations and live-performances and has been presented at places such as Issue Project Room, Berlin Atonal, Sound of Stockholm and Norbergfestival.
