Wind Study: an acoustic commons study group
The acoustic commons study group (ACSG) was first conceived and convened by Ella Finer as a way of gathering diverse considerations of what a commons is in sonic terms. The group has met in many iterations on site and offline. Ella first curated Wind Study: an acoustic commons study group with Flora Pitrolo for Soundcamp 2021. For this occasion they mix the live streams of London and Palermo with 8 tracks composed with wind, voicing in and through the winds with their text London—Mars—Palermo. With wind tracks by Lia Mazzari, Benjamin Parry, Vidisha Fadescha, Folly Ghost, Saso Puckovski, Aleksandar Ordev, Dolphin Club and Robert Jack.
