Mutant war marches meet funeral dirges, tolling bass propels dancehall reflux, drum machines coax reeds into relentless improvisation... DREAM_MEGA is the project of Los Angeles-based artist Joel Kyack, and exists somewhere in the collision of DJ Screw, Captain Beefheart, and Hassell & Eno's 4th World noodlings. As a founding member and multi-instrumentalist with the Providence, RI noise-rock band Landed, Kyack helped craft a particular style of heavy, groove-based chaos that is oft-referenced in DREAM_MEGA, reinterpreted as a dark, stoned-out vision for a dystopian future. The sophomore LP Control / You Are Not the Center was released on Post Present Medium in March, 2026. Kyack is a past member of Six Finger Satellite, Megafuckers and Street Buddy.
