As a multi-disciplinary artist, Hussain has worked in performance art ( with collective Volkov Commanders), visual art and music (as a member of Horrid) having performed in numerous countries and venues including and having shown work in New York, Venice and Barcelona.

Her debut release, Sultana’s Dream, was created using contact mics, keyboards, pedals and vocals. The album is based on the 1905 short story of the same name by author Rokheya Shekhawat Hossein in which women are the ruling gender and have created a world of peace whilst harbouring scientific advances to control the power of the sun and the rain.
