Still House Plants are a three-piece collective based in Glasgow. Obscured melodies and minimal song structures are suffused with light and silence. Shambling rhythms, pulsing chords, and lilting vocals undulate sincerely between sound, space, and the haptic.
Following the eponymously-titled EP in 2016 with GLARC, they are to release 'Assemblages' in mid-June, before playing dates around the UK and Europe. In October they will begin a construction and movement-based collaborative residency with Gordon Bruce (GLARC) and Thomas Leyland-Collins (TLC Sound System) at the CCA, Glasgow, following on from their exhibition ‘Talk To The Barking Dogs’ at The Pipe Factory, Glasgow.
