Back on a Sunday in 2015 John Corbett launched his book ‘Microgroove: Forays Into Other Music’ here, and asked cover star Joe McPhee to play a special solo set before his evening performance with Survival Unit III. Vocals melodies surface through brass bubbles, breath whistles as it finds it way through fissurs - there is no other pro like Joe.
