We have made the decision to close our doors for all upcoming evening shows until further notice. This is obviously a very difficult decision for us to make, and leaves us in a particularly precarious financial position, but given the current circumstances, we want to make sure that we aren't putting anybody at unnecessary risk of infection.
As a small grassroots venue, these are incredibly challenging times for us. We understand this is a difficult situation for everybody, and we will of course offer refunds for any postponed or cancelled show. However, for anybody who feels that they are able to, we would be extremely grateful to those who might consider donating the cost of their ticket to the venue in order to help see us through the coming weeks and months.
We are working hard to reschedule as many of the affected shows as we possibly can and will contact all ticketholders as soon as we have more information on each event. In the meantime, we're very pleased to say that we'll be live-streaming the scheduled shows in the venue (just minus audience!) for the next few nights directly from our website. We're currently assembling a line-up of artists for future live-streamed shows and hope to be broadcasting as many evenings as we can over the next few weeks.
Making a donation, buying records, books or downloads, or becoming a member or patron, are massively helpful ways to ensure we're able to continue presenting some of the most exciting music being created today. We have decided to make our equipment fundraiser auction a fundraiser for emergency survival costs during this Covid-19 chaos instead as we work to make it through this. If you would like to donate an item for us to auction we are still accepting lots details are here you can do so here.
We have been so moved by the way so many of you have already rallied to support us. We cannot express our gratitude enough.
Love and solidarity,
